Shipping

We offer an in-house packaging service. We will endeavour to pack items as carefully as possible. We offer very competitive rates and cost is calculated on size and weight and is subject to a minimum £8 charge.

We will arrange delivery via courier (ParcelForce/DPD/UPS) at the buyer’s expense.  All parcels are sent by fully tracked services. Please note: we are not responsible for the condition of items once they have left the sale room, even if they have been packaged by ourselves.

IMPORTANT : Parcels come with a basic £100 insurance cover which only covers loss of the parcel, and not damage to the contents in transit.  If you require a fully insured service we recommend https://www.packsend.co.uk/chester/

We are unable to send glass, including cabinets, displays or glazed pictures. Buyers are however, welcome to arrange a courier themselves for these items or collect in person by appointment.

Please ensure you are happy with these terms before requesting shipping as we will not entertain any complaints regarding a service of which we have no control.

Items are available for collection in person by appointment, or by a third party once written authorization has been received giving the name of the person(s) collecting the goods on behalf of the registered buyer.  Any buyers wishing to collect their items, we ask kindly that you let us know as soon as possible - thank you.
